Historical Help
Nikolaev International Airport leads its history since 1944. For the first 16 years, it was used exclusively as a military airfield.
In 1960, the air harbor began to carry out civil flights (including cargo), as well as flights to help agriculture. Since the WFP was a soil, the airfield consisted only of small-class aircraft (Li-2 and An-24).
In 1975, a new runway was put into operation, an airbreed complex, a housekeeping, radar, aircraft operating points, hangars for aircraft and a light signal system.
In 1983, a new passenger terminal was opened, and permission was obtained for servicing aircraft type Tu-134, Tu-154, IL-76, An-22 and Il-62.
In 1989, WFP was expanded and extended, as well as strengthened concrete slabs.
In 1992, the Nikolaev airport received the status of international.
In 2009, the airline was reorganized to JSC, and a year later this decision was canceled.
In 2014, Aerognal received admission to receiving freight aircraft.
In 2017, the runway was reconstructed again.
Airport Information
Nikolaev International Airport is located near the city of the same name in the south of Ukraine, in the territory of 320 hectares.
The dimensions of the runway with asphalt coating are 3550 m x 44 m, which allows you to receive middle class aircraft, as well as helicopters of all types.
On the territory of Nikolaev International Airport has been created a barrier-free environment for passengers with disabilities:
- Air-bottle complex is equipped with all the necessary free access equipment;
- Passengers with ABS are provided by carriages for travel through the airport;
- operates “Green Corridor” for Milk Citizens and War Veterans;
- On request, airport staff are supported by passengers with disabilities from / to the registration zone in the departure room and up to / from the aircraft board;
