Kherson International Airport, located near the city of the same name, in the village of Chernobaevka, leads its history since 1961, when the first flight from Kyiv on the An-24 plane was adopted.

In 2006, the air harbor received the status of international, but after that the work of the airline was frozen for seven years due to property disputes.

In 2013, flights resumed. During the year, only flights to Moscow were performed on a regular basis.

Since 2014, the geography of flights expanded to Istanbul.
